Thailand has been COVID FREE for 19 days now, our thanks and congratulations to the authorities who have over the last few days eased a lot more restrictions and are meeting in Bangkok this week to discuss further easing of which important to you who wish to come here and us in the tourism industry.
Cautiously does it ! We all crawled before we could walk, right?
The Light at the end of the tunnel is starting to flicker!
Life here in Thailand is pretty much back to normal with a few more restrictions to be eased such as the bars however the restaurants are open and you can now enjoy your cold beer or a glass of wine with your meal and the night curfew has totally gone.
Tourism is important to Thailand and they are saying that initially they will start in Sept with 1000 foreigners a day being allowed in without quarantine !!!!!!!
You will of course need a ” Fit to fly Certificate “stating you have been tested and will be tested on arrival and required to have a tracking app on your phone . Not too bad , hey !!
Thats only 2 Jumbo jet loads day but its a great start and it will be from a a list of selected countries that have controlled the virus.
By the way this is not only Thailand adopting this strategy its every country including Europe .
We all have short memories and it wasn’t that long ago that we were all locked up so the light at the end of the tunnel is starting to shine through !
Its so nice to see Europe is opening up and pics of people having a drink on the patios of restaurants in France , Spain , Italy etc is a welcome sight.
Every sunset is a treasure and another day gone and every sunrise gives us another day to look forward to.
The UK still seems to be in a bit of a mess and we can’t talk about USA, Russia , India , Brazil just yet ! But elsewhere its getting better by the day and we look forward to seeing you back in our amazing Thailand soon.
Thailand is safe and we in the business must comply with safety measures laid out, us for example have all the equipment and team for Covid santiaztion procedures and you can see that in our Facebook posts of COVID HYGIENE CONTROL by TMC for both the VILLA SANYANGA and ALL of our 6 self owned YACHTS and BOATS and the Transfer bus that we will pick you up in and we have the approval and Certificate ( SHA- Safety and Health)from the TAT ( Tourism authority of Thailand )
