Yesterday SHANGANI was chartered by well known Phuket hotelier, Lars Ydmark, along with 27 of his old time friends who have been meeting up for golf every year for the last 16 years. This is the second time that the group has been for a cruise on the Yacht Shangani and of course we took them to the lovely Shangani beach !!!
The day was a great success, and in particular the boys loved Shangani’s pontoon, which is anchored off the beach – now with a great new shade roof, and little rustic bar. Good to swim out to, or use the kayaks or SUPs. They had a wonderful BBQ lunch in the shade of the trees, played beach cricket and enjoyed the water jacuzzis.
It was so pleasing to hear from Lars, after the charter – “that was the best event we have had in the 16 years. we have been meeting. Once again the yacht crew gave outstanding service.
