So let me describe a typical overnight charter on the Yacht Shangani, , however this can be varied to suit YOUR tastes as everyone is different and we tailor each and every charter to your requirements and wishes.
Tiger marine Charter will send the transport to pick you up , at your hotel , typically at 0900. The bus is a 14 seat air conditioned Toyota commuter, and we will send as many as we need to transfer all of you to the marina .
The Driver has contact with the Yacht’s Captain and he will be there to greet you together with other staff to carry your bags . They will escort you to the Yacht Shangani where you will be warmly greeted by our ship’s staff , neatly dressed in full uniform and offer you a cold scented towel and a delicious iced home made lemon grass drink , which is very refreshing and a delicious snack . A typical snack would be our home made Shangani spring rolls , which has veg , potato and chicken inside with a spiced flavour to it, however we can vary this snack and the welcome drink to your tastes .
Foe example the Russians prefer an alcoholic drink to welcome them in , in this case we offer Shangani’s Mojitos ! and the inside content of the spring roll can be altered to your dietary requirements as they are home made . Maybe you prefer freshly made Bruschetta !
Our music system will be playing our boarding music and you may hand to our hostess your i pod to plug in and listen to your own taste of music .
A safety briefing follows to make sure you know what to do in an emergency and where your muster station is and the location of the life jackets , Mothers boarding with young children are handed a life jacket for their young ones with a harness immediately on boarding.
Guests love to explore the yacht as she is big and there are many places to go for the voyage , some like it up on the foredeck and some like sitting on the upper deck , as that is a bit like being on a cruise ship with its height and cool breeze, The fixed jaccuzi on the upper deck can be half filled , for you to relax in with a glass of wine or a cold beer . The reason we only fill it half way whilst under way is because of the motion of the Yacht and would spill if we filled it full, however as soon as we anchor the crew will fill it .
So an hour and a half later we have arrived at the Kai islands ,where the water is clear and the water activities can commence , We float our floating Jacuzzis behind the boat , trailing and these are very very popular, we lower the big aft platform down to the level of the sea , so the under confidant swimmers can enjoy the swim with something to hang onto , and the non swimmers can don a lifejacket and hold on to the platform or trailing safety rope .
Some like to snorkel , where our crew will tell you where the coral and fish are and we have one deckhand accomapny you with the dingie at all times ensuring your safety and if you get tired can immediately board the dingie ,
some like to try their hand at fishing , some like to leap off the upper deck , ( very popular ) into the ocean and some like to try the big slide from the upper deck down to the ocean.
Lunch will be prepared whilst you are doing all of this , and we promise you , you will love our food !!! Our on board Chef is 5 star and again you only need to flick through our Trip advisor reviews to confirm that !
We will then cruise up to our secret beach where we will set our anchor and stay the night.
There is time to have fun and play on our slides , and have a relaxed drink in the floating jacuzzi’s or soak in the glorious sunset from on board our new floating pontoon bar whilst the crew go ashore to prepare your dinner .
The sunset is glorious as you can see from this picture and your dinner at sit down fine dining style with crisp white table cloths on your tables under the stars will be something you will remember forever . Some have commented that this is the ” best restaurant in the world ! ”
The rustic beach bar , just off the beach and gentle music or party music if you prefer with lovely lighting in the trees and a bonfire just off the beach enhances the atmosphere as you are not sharing this location with any other tourists , You are on your own and our crew will pamper you. Massage from our onboard massuese is complimentary.
A final night cap on the upper deck African bar on board the Yacht Shangani and you can retire to your African themed air conditioned cabin for the night.
Our beach staff will tidy up the beach for you overnight and our Yacht crew will have prepared your cabin for you.
The Yacht Shangani is a large stable Catermaran, so there is no rock and roll movement during the night and you will sleep beautifully.
Next morning , our crew will greet you and offer you a hot coffe from our coffe machine with freshly ground coffe beans or maybe you like an iced mocha or a smoothy ! And the breakfast is laid out for you , the Chef will come and ask you what cooked breakfast you would personally like and do that for you.
After breakfast you may wish to return to the beach for some activities or relax on board before we up the anchor and take you into the spectacular Phang Nga bay.
The limestone islands are truly majestic and we will stop somewhere amongst these islands for a swim and on board lunch prepared by our fantastic Chef whilst you soak in the upper deck jaccuzzi and take in a Thai massage from our experienced massuese.
Cruise back at sunset and disembark , we will have your transfer buss’s ready to take you back to your hotel or the airport and we guarantee you , you will have had two days and one night on board the YACHT SHANGANI of TIGER MARINE CHARTER that you will cherish forever .
